A shower pump or booster pump is a small device designed to be hidden under the bath or in a cupboard.It is an electrical unit with a motor which must be wired to the mains supply
There are two types:
SINGLE- pump-between the mixer and spray head
DUAL-Fitted to the hot & cold water supplies and boosts supply before they reach the mixer unit

The benefits of this type are:
1. It only needs a cold water connection
2. I heats up the water instantly,no need to wait for it to warm up.
DISADVANTAGE:requires connection to a 40 amp fuse in the fuse box which may mean a lot of electrical work
