There are different types of fencing for a start but the simplest one to fit is the fence panel type like this one.
It is basically a fence panel ready made of intertwining wood slats which is just then nailed onto the posts. With this type of panel you could put up a row of fencing like this in no time at all.
Firstly you will need to put new w posts into the ground if the old ones are no good, using a plumb line and spirit level. Nail the panels onto the posts and check for level both vertically and horizontally

REPLACING A FENCE POST
If you need to replace an old fence post then the steps to do this are:
1.cut old post from existing fencing using a hacksaw to cut through the nails/screws.
2. Remove soil from around the post, shake the post until it becomes loose and free.If the post is bedded in concrete then you may have to dig it out.
ERECTING THE NEW POST
1. Put hardcore into the dug out hole (this can be broken bricks or stones compacted).
2. Put post in the hole and fill with concrete mixed with small stones
Make sure post is level by using a spirit level.
3. Nail or screw post to fence panels .
4. Cut post to required height if it is higher than the rest of the posts.
