REFURBISHING OLD CABINETS
The most cost effective way of transforming your old and tired cabinets is to give them a facelift by painting them with special cabinet paint or varnishing them
1. Sand down the old cabinets using a 240 grade sandpaper or fine wire wool ,gently rub down the cabinet taking care not to over strip the varnish and go into bare wood.
2. Wipe surface with white spirit to bring out the grain.
3. After the white spirit has evaporated, paint on the varnish or paint,
Brush on in the direction of the grain-allow to dry.
